Cats in Costumes

I think I've mentioned that I love the month of October. I love the crisp air, the leaves changing color, having to get out my sweaters and warm socks.

But now I live in Texas and none of that applies to my October life anymore. I've had to find other ways to celebrate this month.

I pretend it's cold outside. I knit myself up a nice little Quickie Cowl. But it was in the 80s today, so I had to take it off immediately after capturing this picture.

So then I decided to dress up the cats instead. Because, I'm telling you, the party never ends over here at our house.
Gus, as a chicken. Bawk bawk ba-kawwww.

And Moose as a giraffe.

As you can see, everyone had fun that day. The cats loved their costumes and can't wait to put them on again for trick or treating.

I'm sorry, I know that posting pictures of my cats with little kitty Halloween hats on makes me somewhat of a crazy person. But I love it. And if loving it is wrong, I don't wanna be right.
