Lookit what I got!

Wax lips!!!!

I haven't seen or had wax lips in, oh I don't know, years. It's been a long time. Many moons.

And let me tell you, in case you were going to go out and spend the $2.99 on a pair, that they don't taste as good as I remember from my youth. This is going to sound stupid, but they taste.....waxy. I swear when I was a child they tasted like cherries and sunshine and rainbows. But now? Yeah not so much.

But they're fun.

This weekend is the BIG HALLOWEEN BASH and costumes will be worn. If you wanted me to tell you what I'm going to be, I will have to tell you no.

No.

No.
But I promise to post pictures next week! Hope you have fabulous Halloweenie plans this weekend too!

Funny, I know exactly what you mean about them not tasting good anymore, I felt the same way. Love the picture!

While I was never big on the taste of wax lips, I used to love those little wax bottles filled with juice..got reallllllly excited when I saw them. HAD TO BUY THEM...yeah, not so good.

Same thing happened when I ran across an Easy Bake Oven when I was 25..not as much fun as when I ACTUALLY was 5

OH WE WANT PICTURES!!! AND WITH WAX LIPS!! I'm bummed they don't taste the same. They tasted the same way for me when I was a kid. Plus, I loved to chew them into a wad of red mess, then leave it somewhere to melt into the carpet.... Uh, yeah, I didn't get in trouble for that or anything....

I just love your blog. You guys looked like you had so much fun. I bet the shots were good as well. As for my designs I chart them up on graph paper and then knit it up. I started Duplicate stitch first till I got the hang of it. Give it a try. Just like your pumpkin cheese ball, put it on graph paper and have a go. I bet you would be surprised with yourself.
