Mom? I need you...

I am sick. Dog ass sick. Coughing, sneezing, stuffy-head and all the rest of the adjectives used in the Nyquil commercials sick. I need my mom.

The Cowboy has been sick too, but is starting to feel better and has been taking decent care of me.

But let's face it. There's no substitute for your mom. I'm not too old to admit it.

One never out grows the need for their Mommy! I have been known to call my Mommy when I am sick and say "mommy help!" even in my 40's.

I hope you feel better Cappy! From Cappy....

Here is your, Mommy. What you need is some gobbles. I wish I could just drive over to your kitchen and make you up a big pot of gobbles. And yes, the cream of tomato soup and grilled cheese are good substitutes as comfort food. To look on the bright side, hopefully both you and Cowboy will be feeling better when you come to Michigan. I had the crud, and now granny has the crud, too. We all need GOBBLES!!!

Try Snoopies. They are DA BOMB at getting you over a cold.

Snoopie
2/3 cup Sprite or 7-Up (your choice)
1/3 cup Orange Juice (Or Sunny D to give it a real zing)

Drink until you turn orange.

Hope you feel better.

Happened upon your blog through Ravelry and was so pleased to see that someone else shares the grilled cheese/tomato soup need when suffering from a cold. No one here in England understands.... (And yes -- I'd trade them both in a heartbeat for some Mom help. But they do in a pinch when Ma is on another continent.)
